Child-like Faith

This is so precious! It is our first "God-moment" with our daughter Kennedy. :)
Last week - she started bowing her head and mumbling a bunch - and then looking up and saying "A-MEN"! She covers her eyes up - with her folded hands. It is the most precious thing a parent can watch at this age. The other day - her and Jon had already prayed for our lunch - but I was still standing up in the kitchen. When I sat down to eat - I dug right in - and Kennedy said - "MOMMY!", mumbled a bit with a bowed head, and then yelled "A-MEN!" Guess I got a scolding!!! :)

Toddler bed...

Kennedy's crib turns into a toddler bed - all you do is take off one side railing. WEll - we have tried this - and she's fallen out (mostly for naps). Jon and I purchased a new railing to help her stay in - but it didn't go so well! :(
She cried and cried and cried. She wanted her bed back. Just because WE weren't ready to fight it out...(choose your battles)... we decided to put her crib back together! :) I think we're going to wait a few more months... :)

Mile-high club...

Ok not really...but I forgot about this funny story! I don't think we told anyone...but it's worth a laugh - or at least a chuckle! :)

On our way home from flying to Kansas - I had to use the restroom sooo bad! Well - I went to the "bathroom" - which is the tightest little space to begin with...the door folds IN - causing even LESS space - and there is a mirror as soon as you walk in.

I got confused b/c the locks I've always seen on the plane say "Occupied" when someone is in there!! Well - I couldn't figure out if it was busy or not...so
I pushed the door in - REAL HARD...and hit a guy who was doing #1 - in the back of the head with the door!!! I could see his face - b/c of the mirror...TOTALL AKWARD!!! He muttered a curse word - and I took off running!!! It was great b/c about that time - someone else needed to go - and was standing by the door when he came out, so he thought it was her - and shot her a dirty look!

Let's just say - I held it the rest of the flight home!! :)
